Sacramento- a two alarm fire caused heavy damage to one Sacramento home and minor damage to another home early this morning. Multiple reports of the fire came in at 6:11 A.M. this morning and Sacramento Firefighters were on scene in about five and one half minutes. They encountered heavy fire through the roof of one home with the fire spreading to the next door homes roof. They also received reports of the possibility of persons trapped inside.

A second alarm was requested. Crews were able to knock down the fire inside the home and contained the fire to the roof of the home next door. Fortunately there was no one home in the home that had the heavy fire damage.

There were no reported injuries and the Sacramento Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of this fire. Firefighters from Sacramento Metro Fire also responded.
