Location: 4708 36th Street, Sacramento
Abandoned Home Fire

Sacramento- an abandoned home was severely burned this morning on 36th Street. This fire occurred directly across the street from another abandoned home that burned a few days ago. This morning’s fire was started on the outside of the garage and burned up through the attic and roof causing heavy damage.

 

Sacramento Fire Department’s Engine Company 6 arrived on scene in less than 4 minutes. There were no reported injuries and Sacramento Fire Investigators are still working on the exact cause. They are calling it an “incendiary act”.

 

The Sacramento Fire Department wants to remind everyone that you need to keep and eye out on your neighborhood, especially abandoned homes, and report to the Police any suspicious activity. Anyone with any information about these fires is urged to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or 1-800-AA-CRIME..
