Sacramento- Two Sacramento Police Officers rescued a seventeen year old boy in a burning car. Sacramento Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle accident with fire at Darnell Way and Riverside Blvd. early this morning. They arrived and found a car involved in fire. It had crashed into a concrete wall.
Two Sacramento Police Officers were already on scene and had removed the seventeen year old driver from the fiery car. The Officers had to use a fire extinguisher to hold back the flames as they removed the young driver. The driver had major injuries and burns and was transported to a local hospital by Sacramento Firefighters.
Firefighters are saying that if not for the action of the Officers, the driver would have died. The accident is being investigated by the Sacramento Police Department.
