Firefighter Michael Adams

Sacramento- Firefighter Michael Adams, a twenty year veteran of the Sacramento Fire Department died yesterday in an automobile accident, on White Rock Road in Sacramento County.

 

Firefighter Adams was hired by the Sacramento Fire Department in August of 1989. He was a decorated Firefighter, for serving on the USAR Team during the California Floods of 1997 and for his time as a Drill Instructor at our Fire Academy.

 

He is survived by his nine year old Daughter Sarah, his Mother Virginia, and his Brother, Sacramento Fire Department Captain Tim Adams and many other family members and friends. His father Ernie, who preceded Mike in death, was a highly decorated Firefighter from Oakland California.

 

Mike was assigned to Engine Company 57 in the Parkway Estates Neighborhood of South Sacramento. Services for Firefighter Adams are pending.
