Sacramento- a press conference will be held on Thursday October 22, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. at the office of the Sacramento Fire Department regarding a campaign that is being launched by Bark Buckle Up.

Firefighters all across this nation respond to many home fires every year, and unfortunately we lose many family pets in these fires. While we do all that we can to try and rescue and resuscitate these family pets, sometimes we do not have the proper tools.

The campaign that Bark Buckle Up is conducting would help equip fire apparatus with pet resuscitator masks that could be used to help Firefighters resuscitate these animals. Attending this press conference will be representatives from the Sacramento Fire Department and Bark Buckle Up.
